Agreed on Valimaki. I thought he looked pretty good against Winnipeg but he didn’t look like he was ready last night.

Mangiqpane looks good but needs to show some finish. Lots of opportunities.

Valamaki is going to be a future top 4 D man! Unless he plays Lights out and he foresees the coaching staff to keep him with the big club! Then fine. if not Anderson stays ,valamaki plays his 10 games then goes to the ahl for some seasoning!!at this point t Anderson looks better the looks better then kulak

I don’t disagree with any of what you said. He should definitely go to the AHL for at least this season.

Completely agree on Valimaki. Looks like he needs a season in Stockton first, which is fine. If the guy's not ready no point in having him up. That's how you ruin prospects.

Czarnik has been nothing short of spectacular, Andersson looked like an NHL defenseman last night, and both Dube and Mangiapane are making strong cases to be on the opening night roster.

This has been a fun preseason so far.

Imo Gillies looked good for the first half of the game. I know it's pre season but would have been nice to let him have the net for the whole game. I think playing against Demko might have been a little motivation for him with all the comparisons between the 2.
If Anderson doesn't make the top 6 it's criminal. He's looked good in every game I've watched, carries the puck with confidence. More time in the show will only build on that. Suck it Bartchi!
Both Mangipani and Dube have played well, can't see Lazar staying in Calgary. Maybe Vancouver will give us a pick for him, they seem to like our scraps.
Was I imagining this or is it true that the top line didn't play much last night, seems 11,19,27 were on all night. All in all I can't think of a better team to open the season against than the Canucks.

IF I was lazar I would be a little worried right about now. And who is this Anthony poluso?

Really thinking that it might be Lindholm that is a better fit on the top line.

CN seems a little slow and with Tkachuks playmaking might fit in well in the slot.

Maybe a few months in the minors is way overdue for Lazar. Doubt he'll get claimed at this point in his career.
